This encompassed the areas of electrical appliances, water fittings, lighting, solar power usage, building materials, insulation, ventilation and even the position of the rooms to gain best lighting, warmth, and the afternoon sea breezes. Since being approved we have continued to improve this platform by embracing and improving, using some of the latest energy technologies available.
The replacement of over 200 lights with new LED technology, installing very low noise/power reverse cycle air are also part of the ongoing best practise. In addition we use natural gas and lighting sensors within key areas inside and outside giving automated lighting while being efficient and practical.
We also obtained an Australian Std fire safety rating by installing fire retardant building materials. As part of the approval a fire system was fitted that included emergency lighting and a fire sensor system.
